Bright Mavericks Networking Events for Games Developers

I’ve been working hard these last few months with George Osborn to create our event for London Mobile Games Week which is an umbrella event which takes place during Pocket Gamer Connects London and the Mobile Games Forum in January.  We ran our first expert roundtable event on the 18th of January at the McQueen Bar in Shoreditch and you can read a summary of the event by George here.  Our sponsors were Pollen VC and Get Social, thanks again for being involved.

We’re big believers this event format is not about a ‘big sell’, rather it’s about meeting face to face and making a connection. The format works with attendees picking a table and rotating round (rather than the hosts) enabling networking with different people during the event. Attendees can meet their peers, exchange information, learn the latest industry updates from our experts, network and have fun.  For our sponsors, we are able to tailor the event and content as much as possible to fit their objectives through the whole lifecycle of the event.  The event provides access to games developers in an informal way, marketing promotion throughout and video interviews and imagery content to take away.

We are now working on our next event in Helsinki which will be happening w/c 25th April and we’ll be inviting a range of games developers to learn from key industry experts ways to grow their business.   The event will be a similar format but with a some extra features around video introductions and workshops.

To find out how your company could benefit by sponsoring our event, please contact Lindsey Pickles the contact page above, via twitter or LinkedIn and we can set up a phone call to discuss your requirements further.
